Introduction:
The precursor to JL Infomatrix Ltd (JLIL), JL Computer Services
was started in 1989 to provide software solutions primarily in the area of accounting
and finance. Taking up (at that point of time) a virtually unknown software
product for marketing and distribution, JL has been largely instrumental in
making a huge success of it in the marketplace. This was reflected in Tally
(Financial and Inventory Management Software) being chosen for the PC Quest
User's Choice award 10 years in succession.
In 1997, JL Computer Services Pvt. Ltd., which took over the
marketing and distribution business, became operational.
Since 1997, JL has grown several folds in terms of turnover and has become one
of the foremost companies in India of its kind. Since then, the company has
also grown considerably in providing support and IT solutions and has also built
up a large network of re-sellers.
Nucleus Infomatrix was started in 1993. The emphasis has been on developing
software solutions to industry. NI has given software solutions to internationally
known companies like Compaq, Motorola, Texas instruments etc. Based on the tremendous
experience in business processes it has gained over the years, NI started work
on software products in 1997. With the effort of several man-months, it has
come up with the popular compensation management package PayIIPro that has been
launched successfully at a national level by JL Infomatrix Ltd.
