Introduction:
India’s burgeoning population, the ever-growing work force, an increasing middle class and the pace of urbanization are the mainstay of the home finance industry. India is home of 16% of the world’s population accommodated in an area of 2.42% of world’s total land area.
There are so many homeless people in India due to lack of funds. Many people living in rented homes dream of having a house of their own, which brings the house financing companies and banks into picture.
The project talks about the gap analysis in the perceptions related to home loans from the two perspectives of customers and banks. This has been done with the help of questionnaires designed for both.
The current scenario of housing loan business is that all banks are trying to be very professional and customer friendly these days. Banks are flooded with cash and they only need more and people to apply for loans. So they are doing all kind of efforts starting from providing lowest costs to CRM.
